Terry Sisco brings over five decades of proven leadership in driving sales and scaling performance. From 1974 to 2000, he rose through the ranks of national retail brands—starting in a single fine jewelry department and advancing to Senior Vice President over 150 stores and more than 500 employees. His track record? Five consecutive years of double-digit sales growth, followed by a corporate promotion to lead national advertising and sales promotion.
In 2000, Terry founded Exsellerate, Inc. to bring big-brand strategy and behavioral science to independent and mid-sized businesses. He’s built sales systems and training programs for world-class names like Maurice Lacroix, Platinum Guild International, and Blue Nile’s global call centers—alongside hundreds of high-performing independent jewelers and retail organizations.
But the turning point came during a training session at Blue Nile. Terry had an insight that changed everything:
"Why work to turn a 4 into a 6, when you could hire a 9 or 10 from the start?" That moment sparked a new mission—helping business owners consistently hire top performers, not fix underperformers.
Terry became a Certified Professional Behavior Analyst in 2005 and soon after created the Sisco Sales Score—a behavioral benchmark now used across the fine jewelry industry to predict top performers with 92% accuracy.
From that foundation, Terry has administered behavioral assessments and benchmarked the performance of thousands of potential and current team members.
